Guide Adeline Smith September 2, 2026

🍎🍂WELCOME TO FALL IN CHARLESTON🍂🍎

Fall in Charleston may not bring dramatic mountain leaves or freezing temperatures, but it has a magic all its own. Cooler mornings, golden marsh views, oyster season, outdoor festivals, seasonal drinks, and fewer summer crowds make it one of the best times to experience the Lowcountry.

We created this guide to help you make the most of the season, whether you live here, are visiting for the weekend, or are considering making Charleston home. Inside, you’ll find our Charleston fall bucket list, the best kid friendly and adult fall festivals, outdoor Lowcountry experiences, pumpkin spice latte stops, fall date night ideas, oyster roasts, turkey shoots, and a few local hidden gems you may not have heard about yet.

Consider this your guide to experiencing fall the Charleston way.

🏠️MEET YOUR CHARLESTON REALTORS🏠️

We’re Amy and Adeline Smith, the mother and daughter real estate team behind Charleston Living Team. We help buyers and sellers navigate Charleston and the surrounding Lowcountry with local knowledge, honest guidance, and a personalized approach to finding the right home and the right area.

To us, Charleston is about so much more than real estate. It’s the lifestyle, local traditions, restaurants, beaches, outdoor experiences, and community events that make living here so special. We love creating guides like this to help you experience Charleston like a local and discover more of what makes the Lowcountry feel like home.

If you’re considering moving to Charleston, planning a future home search, or simply have questions about the different areas, we would love to help.
